    As a multilingual country, language maintenance is important to prevent the local language or varieties from being perished. Javanese language subject at school is one of the languagemaintenance efforts from the government and this paper discusses about the language attitude of the students toward it. There two kind language attitude in learning process, Integrative attitude and instrumental attitude. The attitude that is possessed by the studentswill influence the success of Javanese language subject as language maintenance effort from the government. This paper also discusses about the influence of language shift to more dominant language such as Indonesian language and English toward the student’s attitudedevelopment

    Pengembangan Aplikasi Easy Tenses Berbasis Android Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Digital Bahasa Inggris

    Learning media innovation is in line with developments in information technology. Many of the innovations being developed now utilize the fields of multimedia and mobile devices. These two fields have proven capable of producing interesting learning media and making it easier for students to learn learning material digitally. One of the learning materials that requires digital media is English. Many English learning applications have been developed but are not yet in accordance with the learning plans of teachers and students so they are not used directly in class. Based on these problems, this research developed an application for learning English digitally that can be used directly in classroom learning. Application development is carried out using the waterfall method and is adjusted to the learning plans of school teachers. The results of application implementation are tested on all users through user assistance and filling out surveys. From the results of testing the application using black box testing, it was found that the percentage of 100% of the functions ran as expected. From the results of the application validation test, a score of 86.5% was obtained for material suitability from material experts, 83.8% for media suitability from media experts, 82.6% for useability from educators' assessments, and 81% for useability from students' assessments. From the overall validation test results carried out on material experts, media experts, educators and students, the overall average validation results were 84.37%, which shows that the Easy Tenses application created can be categorized as very suitable for use. Inovasi yang banyak dikembangkan sekarang memanfaatkan bidang multimedia dan perangkat bergerak. Kedua bidang tersebut terbukti mampu menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan mempermudah siswa untuk mempelajari materi pembelajaran secara digital. Salah satu materi pembelajaran yang membutuhkan media digital adalah Bahasa Inggris. Aplikasi pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris banyak dikembangkan namun belum sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran para guru dan siswa sehingga tidak digunakan secara langsung di kelas. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi untuk mempelajari Bahasa Inggris secara digital yang mampu digunakan secara langsung pada pembelajaran di kelas. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan metode waterfall dan disesuaikan dengan rencana pembelajaran dari guru sekolah. Hasil implementasi aplikasi diujikan ke seluruh pengguna melalui pendampingan pengguna dan pengisian survey. Dari hasil pengujian aplikasi secara blackbox testing didapatkan persentase 100% fungsi berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Dari hasil uji validasi aplikasi diperoleh nilai 86.5 % untuk kelayakan materi dari ahli materi, 83.8 % untuk kelayakan media dari ahli media, 82.6% untuk kelayakan penggunaan dari penilaian pendidik, dan 81% untuk kelayakan penggunaan dari penilaian peserta didik. Dari keseluruhan hasil pengujian validasi yang dilakukan terhadap ahli materi, ahli media, pendidik dan peserta didik didapatkan rata-rata keseluruhan hasil validasi sebesar 84.37% yang menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Easy Tenses yang dibuat dapat dikategorikan sangat layak untuk digunakan
